10 Times Triple H Proved He's WWE's Biggest Babyface
9. Consistent WrestleMania Jobs
As Triple H's in-ring career winds down he has seamlessly segued into a big event performer. You're pretty much only going to see The Game compete at WrestleMania, SummerSlam and The Royal Rumble from here on out. As one of the biggest stars in the company's history, Triple H is pretty much guaranteed to play a featured part in the yearly extravaganza known as WrestleMania. His last few 'Mania outings have been against Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker (three huge stars) and this year he will face Sting in the veteran's first ever WWE match. Has Triple H won his share of 'Mania matches? Of course he has. He famously became the first heel to retain the WWE Title in WrestleMania history at WrestleMania 16, made short work of Chris Jericho's initial main event push at 18, sent Booker T back to the midcard at XIX and beat Randy Orton and Sheamus at XXV and XXVI, respectively. But Triple H has also had no trouble staring at the lights on the Grandest Stage Of Them All. He did the job for The Undertaker in what was then 'Taker's best ever 'Mania outing at X-Seven, tapped out to Chris Benoit in the main event of XX, gave Batista the rub at 21, Cena at 22 and XXIV and The Dead Man at XXVII and XXVIII. Let us also not forget the Daniel Bryan match at XXX either. Considering his backstage power and status, Triple H could easily have influenced the outcome of these matches in his favour but, instead, he did what was best for business and lay down for the 1-2-3.
