10 Times Triple H Proved He's WWE's Biggest Babyface

3. Connor's Cure

Connor Michalek was an 8-year-old WWE superfan who suffered from paediatric brain cancer. Attending a WWE show with his Dad and brother he somehow managed to talk his way backstage to meet WWE wrestlers and, in particular, his favourite superstar Daniel Bryan. Everyone backstage fell in love with Connor and WWE paid for him and his family to go to WrestleMania, where he got to see his hero win the WWE Championship. WWE released a video detailing Connor's WWE journey, including backstage footage of Connor interacting with wrestlers. In a touching moment Bryan and Connor make their entrance to Bryan's music while doing the 'Yes!' taunt. Once in the ring, Triple H enters and lets Connor punch and then pin him while the rest of the locker room applauds. It was a classy move by Triple H, something that you could tell was totally off-the-cuff and just done to make a sick boy feel special. When Connor passed away WWE and Triple H didn't forget about him. Stephanie and Triple H set up the 'Connor's Cure' foundation, a charity that they personally funded. Since its creation, the charity has helped raised over $200,000 to help families who are affected by paediatric brain cancer.
