10 Times Vince McMahon Got Revenge
1. Nacho Man & The Huckster
In 1996, there was a whole lot of bad blood between WCW and WWE, and Vince McMahon had absolutely no intention of defusing it. Furious at WCW poaching all WWE's 1980s stars such as Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage, and then making a bunch of money out of them, Vince decided to stick it to them through the medium of sketch comedy.
The results were ugly.
The 'Billionaire Ted' skits depicted Ted Turner and his ageing stars, the Nacho Man and the Huckster, making idiots of themselves. They got very, very nasty, referencing Nacho and Hucks not having to take tests for steroids in WCW, ripping on Turner himself, and parodying Gene Okerlund's selling of the WCW hotline. The skits ended at WrestleMania XII, where on the pre-show the Huckster and the Nacho Man contested a match where both dropped dead of old age.
The Billionaire Ted sketches represent a low point of Vince's capacity to act graciously, and must have needed some sweeping under the carpet when both Hogan and Savage were brought back into the company's good graces (in Savage's case posthumously).
