10 Times Vince McMahon Got Revenge

2. Titus O'Neil

It doesn't take much to make Vince angry. In his later years his fuse seems to have got even shorter, a fact surely lamented by current WWE wrestler Titus O'Neil.

In February 2016, Daniel Bryan was announcing his retirement from wrestling and the whole roster assembled on the stage to see him off. Vince McMahon emerged through the centre of the oiled and muscular ranks to lend his magisterial presence to proceedings.

Titus O'Neil made the peculiar but not too momentous decision to playfully grab the boss as he walked by. As innocuous an action as this was, it inflamed a volcanic rage within Vince's ancient heart, and he responded by suspending O'Neil for 90 days.

Bear in mind this is the kind of treatment more commonly meted out to wrestlers who violate the WWE's Wellness Policy - that is, dose themselves up with dangerous drugs and risk both their health and the reputation of the company. Violating Vince's personal Zone of Bossitude is of equal gravity in his mind, and thanks to his act of petty revenge Titus knows it better than anyone.
