10 Times Vince McMahon HATED What He Was Seeing

10. Kofi Kingston's Debut Vignettes

Let's kick off with the most recent discovery of Vince's blunt approach.

Kofi Kingston was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when he sat down at Gorilla to watch his debut ECW vignettes air. Mere moments later, the wrestler was left ashen-faced and depressed by what he heard coming back at him over the headset he'd grabbed. McMahon was not happy with the quality of the beach-bum hype vids at all.

In fact, he described them as "barely, barely passable", and that scathing review made Kofi's heart sink. He believed that he'd never get another chance to impress the boss man and might actually be expelled from the promotion shortly afterwards. Kingston was so distraught that he thought he'd be fired.

Vince went on to say that the concept was goofy and did nothing to sell the wrestler as someone fans should take seriously. It's difficult to ascertain whether McMahon should've been talking about Kofi's new Jamaican gimmick or his watered down ECW vision as a whole.
