2. Vince Loses It In Liverpool
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RK0AOmpQgIE It's bad enough that WWE more often than not presents a second-rate show when they tour the UK, but to be insulted directly by the owner of the company himself? Does Vince even realise how many Tiger Ali Singh matches Britain had to endure whenever his crew ventured over here in the nineties? Vince snapped on an apparently disinterested Liverpool crowd when WWE taped Smackdown in the city on November 10th, 2014. His appearance was a surprise, and finally woke up the crowd, most of whom must have assumed Vince was coming out to thank them for coming out and how great it was for the WWE to be in the UK. Oh, how wrong they were. Vince wasn't happy with the lack of crowd noise and participation. Vince's rant, in full:
Whats the matter with you people? Youre sitting on your hands out here, youre not having a good time, youre not cheering, youre not booing, and why? They cheered louder in Sheffield, they cheered louder in Manchester, they cheer louder all over the UK except here in Liverpool. The guy in the front row over here looking at Jericho. Guy next to him. Im from Liverpool. Im from Liverpool too. Come on, whats the matter with you? Have some fun here tonight, Liverpool. Liverpool; what kind of name is Liverpool? Liverpool sounds like an old mans skin disease, doesnt it? Liverpool, kind of like ebola, it just crawls up on ya. Come on and have some fun here tonight, damn it.
Yes, Vince did in fact liken his company's own fans to the deadly Ebola virus. Is there any greater f*** you then than that?
