It'll never not be weird, all of this.

There's no one specific on-screen incident where Vince McMahon and daughter Stephanie presented their relationship as anything more than familial, but there was so much ambiguity around the icky "Daddy's Little Girl" terminology at various points during their time as heels together that a lot of the stuff going unsaid was the kind of sh*t nobody wanted to say.

On one of McMahon's greatest ever nights, she had the phrase in bejewelled lettering across her back. A weirdly romanticised jealousy existed between Stephanie and Trish Stratus in the aforementioned angle with the future Women's Champion. That followed lots of awkward touchy-feeling moments when the two were the pillars of the McMahon-Helmsley Regime. And the less said about Dad's attitude to daughter's concern when he was dating Sable, the better. It most definitely wasn't the brand of jealousy he was suggesting.

Again, it'll never not be weird, all of this. And McMahon was prepared to make it weirder...
