10 Times WCW Was The CRAZIEST Promotion Ever

Fall Brawl 2000 is best-remembered for Goldberg's finest WCW pay-per-view match, Booker T becoming World Champion again, and this hilarious 'Mean' Gene Okerlund promo. The long-serving stick man was backstage with young heel group the Natural Born Thrillers when he decided to rebel.

Mike Sanders did a Konnan impersonation, and Gene replied: "Real good impression there, ya pr*ck!". When fellow Thriller Sean O'Haire grabbed Okerlund and threatened him, Gene answered: "Blow it out your a*s, O'Haire. I got guys that can take out your kneecaps!".

Yours truly has no clue to this day how anyone in the scene managed to stop themselves from laughing live on air. That would've been one of the most WCW moments ever (Mark Jindrak did keep smirking), but everyone was treated to Okerlund being a curmudgeonly old sod instead.

Imagine any of pro wrestling's backstage interviewers acting like this today? It probably wouldn't happen unless they were part of a broader story or willing to work a match.
