10 Times WCW Was The CRAZIEST Promotion Ever

9. Those Mini-Movies

WCW warmed itself up for the mayhem of that aforementioned Hogan silliness by producing some of the worst/best (depending on your point of view) pay-per-view vignettes earlier a few years prior. Mini-movies for events like Halloween Havoc 1992, SuperBrawl 1993 and Bash At The Beach '93 must be seen to be believed.

Sting going to Big Van Vader's ominous "White Castle Of Fear" ahead of SuperBrawl was a highlight. The OTT narration, the stock background music, and the way all of those extras seemingly lived in a big cave on a mountain with Vader and Harley Race was incredible to behold.

Keep in mind one thing: WCW thought this would shift PPV units. They really, really did. Apparently, they also figured a little guy called "Cheatum" blowing up boats as the Stinger and British Bulldog played games with a group of random kids ahead of BATB would work too.

WWE or AEW should bring these things back. We need to see MJF and Jay White playing tug-o-war, damn it!
