10 Times WCW Was The CRAZIEST Promotion Ever

3. Hollywood Hogan’s Head

Starrcade 1997's main event between Sting and Hollywood Hogan turned out to be an in-ring disappointment in the end. The screwy finish tanked hard, and even Eric Bischoff admits it would've been better had the babyface hero run roughshod over the evil nWo leader that night. At least the build was eye-catching.

Shortly before the pay-per-view, Bischoff held "Hollywood Hogan Appreciation Night" on Nitro and showered his pal with gifts. The last one turned out to be a sting from the Stinger, brother! Hulk pulled a mannequin version of his own head out and over-acted like nobody had ever over-acted before.

Class.

It was some sight to see Nitro fade to black as Hogan stared "himself" in the eyes and screamed like he'd just stubbed his toe on the ring steps. Meanwhile, Eric feigned disgust in the background as the announcers sprinkled some more hype on the upcoming title clash.

Who else misses WCW?
