7. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes (Starrcade 2017)

In 2017, WWE brought back the classic WCW pay-per-view Starrcade for the first time in 17 years. Then it turns out that the flagship show of World Championship Wrestling would be turned into a SmackDown-oriented house show not even to air on the Network. So as you can tell, it was of little importance to Vince & Co.

It featured the returns of several WCW legends like Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, the Rock 'n' Roll Express, and a gimmick not seen for 23 years, "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. Competing in the WWE as Goldust for the majority of his career, Rhodes first made a name for himself simply as the son of Dusty Rhodes, one of the biggest names in WCW history, though his tenure in the southern promotion came to an end following the infamous King of the Road match and a blading incident.

Rhodes defected to the Fed under the iconic Goldust and remained that way throughout most of the rest of his WWE run. When the Starrcade was resurrected, Rhodes brought back his Natural gimmick as a tribute to his late father, who died two years prior to the event, and defeated Dash Wilder in short order.
