10 Times Wrestlers Busted Out Moves You'd NEVER Expect

6. John Cena Busts Out A Hurricanrana

The WWE fandom was so deprived of state-of-the-art content and anything that remotely resembled something that wasn't its own unadventurous, homogenised style that they once popped for the most dog sh*t hurricanrana spot you'll ever see.

That's snarky. The spot got over because it was shocking and inserted at the perfect time into an excellent, frantic 2013 match against CM Punk premised on an electrifying sense of sudden death urgency.

Still, the "incredulity pop" is an awestruck if generous reaction afforded to a wrestler who isn't known for (or even capable of) busting out a particular move, like that time Virgil hit the Canadian destroyer on Joey Janela in one of those irony indie matches worked for the GIFs. It probably shouldn't be generated by a man considered by many the greatest wrestler of all-time.

More outrageous than good, it didn't matter, and to be fair to Cena, his vertical leap was seriously impressive for a man hardly known for his agility. He did however almost drop himself on his neck and landed in such an uncoordinated way that he almost he almost kicked Punk in the head on the way down.

Still, didn't he try hard?
