During a routine singles match on the 19 August 2011 episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio were preparing some simple heat work for the coming commercial break. Before they got there, Del Rio cracked Bryan with an accidentally stiff punch and knocked him out. "Aw sh*t", said Alberto when he realised.

Bryan didn't come around for a few minutes, and was still unconscious when the break was over.

Del Rio recalls asking the ref for advice and hearing from Gorilla that the match should continue. Bryan, who was now slightly more lucid, asked his peer where the hell they were, then said to put him in the corner for some more heat so he could recover. Hilariously, Dan then stiffed the sh*t out of Alberto with some kicks.

After that, Del Rio had to call the entire closing stretch back to Bryan so he could launch his comeback. He'd totally forgotten what they had planned, and he was relying on the heel to guide him through. For the record, Alberto didn't complain about that receipt.
