It’s fairly easy to meet celebrities when you work for WWE. Whether it’s at ringside or backstage, it attracts an array of actors, musicians, athletes, reality TV stars, and even porn stars. Leading actors like Matthew McConaughey, Adam Sandler, and Stephen Amell, headline musicians such as Corey Taylor, Fred Durst and Snoop Dogg, as well as influential athletes like Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James and Tyson Fury have all appeared ringside at various points in WWE. Some even in angles.

And with that kind of access there’s plenty of wrestlers who’ve scored dates with famous folk. Whilst wrestlers are commonly known to date someone else already in the business, given their hectic travel schedule and being around the same group of people 4/5 days of the week, some look further afield to Hollywood. Whether or not it’s a calculated move, it does create buzz and interest for them online to date someone else in the spotlight.

Alexa Bliss’ newest beau is musician Ryan Cabrera, after The Miz introduced the two. Nikki Bella met her Dancing With the Stars’ fiancé Artem Chigvintsev when she was a contestant on the show and now they’re engaged and expecting their first child together. Paige was engaged to A Day to Remember’s guitarist Kevin Skaff in early 2016 and since late 2018 has been in a relationship with Falling in Reverse lead singer Ronnie Radke. Even Dana Brooke pulled Guardians of the Galaxy’s Drax (whatever his real name is) after some social media flirtation.

But it must be weird. When you’re an over wrestler on national TV, that garners a lot of attention as well as fans. So imagine what it feels like for the wrestlers when their famous partners are far more over them nationally. This is a list of people in wrestling who know that bizarre feeling all too well.
