Well, not really. But it was rumoured and talked about thanks to the American tabloid the National Enquirer who published a story claiming Rey was in a relationship with Jennifer. The headline read ‘Friends star Jennifer Aniston flips for incredible hunk’ alongside pictures of Jennifer and her supposed boyfriend Rey. Of course, the story was rubbish given the greatest cruiserweight in pro wrestling history was already married with a son (Dominic).

Many thought it was a publicity stunt by WCW to push Mysterio as a bigger star. Eric Bischoff was asked to clarify the rumour on his 83 weeks podcast: "I am not sure how the story emerged. I wasn't involved in it. I can't imagine it. It had to come from somewhere. Or, maybe, they just made it all up. Who knows?"
