10 Times Wrestlers Hijacked WWE Raw

10. The Rock Takes Over The Show (January 25, 2016)

The most recent addition to this list, The Rock turned up on Monday Night Raw and once again proved why he's such a cherished part of WWE folklore. There is nobody on the current roster who can enrapture a crowd like Dwayne Johnson, the guy simply has charisma by the bucket load. His appearance was a welcome break from the norm for the show. After arriving and trading banter with everyone from The Miz and Big Show to Lana and Rusev, The Rock then made his way to the ring for some promo time. Earlier in the evening, fans had been chanting 'Macho Man' in response to a crowd member dressed like Randy Savage. This was something The Rock knew he could have some fun with. Literally telling everyone that he was going off script and straying from plans, The Rock chatted to the fans who had made the effort to dress up. They were even allowed the opportunity to say some words themselves. It's highly likely that if Dwayne Johnson wasn't as big a star as he is, there would be repercussion backstage from management for encouraging Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan-related interaction with the audience. By far, this was the best part of the show, and another reminder that WWE should allow performers to deviate from a strict script more often.
