8. Triple H Asks How Your Is Territory Doing

Triple H - who has never cooked a Michelin star-level meal, but does hold an opinion on whether the food he ingests tastes any good - batted away criticism of WWE's booking in 2016.

Speaking to KC Joyner of ESPN, Triple H was adamant that WWE's booking, while savaged by fans, was financially successful, so f*ck you.

"Oh, I'm sorry, how's your territory doing?" he asked rhetorically - the not exactly subtle implication being that you, a mark, do not own and operate a territory. You sit on a computer, and fire off your little opinions, but you don't understand the "dynamics" of what is it that WWE does. It is simply too much for your feeble little mind to comprehend.

NXT was prized away from him in 2021 after it failed to make the transition to television in 2019. Ratings while not a complete disaster were considered a disgrace by Vince McMahon, who surveyed the grey sea of overlong, artificially intense star rating-chasing matches and deduced that the show needed more breasts, more bright colours, and more Asian caricatures.
