The part of Shawn Michaels' career when he acted like a tempestuous teenager ended in 1998 when he was forced into an early retirement after bashing his back on a coffin - or so we thought, anyway

'The Heartbreak Kid' briefly revisited his bad boy days in 2005, when he was paired up with Hulk Hogan in a dream SummerSlam main event, a match that he was scheduled to lose (and not only lose, but lose without being given the chance at a rematch).

Believing this to be unfair, Shawn naturally spent the entire match over-selling Hogan's moves to a comical degree, safe in the knowledge that there was no way a superstar of his profile would be on the receiving end of anything more than a disappointed Vince McMahon glare by way of reproach.
