Taking an already storied on-screen rivalry seemingly up a few notches during a SmackDown segment involving a bizarre title swap, the events that unfolded between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on October 22 felt a little too strange to be scripted.

Sure enough, once the dust had settled on the incident involving "The Queen" throwing her Raw Women's title strap away from "The Man" and "Big Time Becks" subsequently firing her SmackDown Women's belt at her former best pal, it soon became apparent that this all stemmed from some legit backstage animosity.

With Lynch later revealing that she knew Flair "was going to purposefully disrespect (her)", the Irish star would also confess to Ariel Helwani when talking on his MMA Hour that, "we need to to be able to trust that one person is going to do what they said they were going to do, because otherwise we’d be doing (MMA)."

The pair would ultimately co-exist long enough to put on an undoubted banger at Survivor Series, it must be said. But it's clear that Lynch's trust in her one-time bestie was thoroughly shaken on the back of this segment and act of frustration that likely went a touch too far.
