Matt and Jeff Hardy have never been afraid to go toe-to-toe with each other, and the Royal Rumble has provided the brothers with many opportunities to do just that. The two always seemed to draw suspiciously convenient numbers too, entering within three minutes of each other in three of the four Rumbles they both competed in. In 2002 they both perished whilst attempting to eliminate The Undertaker, and by 2003 the draft had split the two up.

In 2001 they managed to eliminate each other, leading to one of the most iconic moments in Royal Rumble history. Jeff entered at number one and Matt at number three, and the two took turns beating on each other whilst stopping to eliminate whomever else was in the ring at the time. Bull Buchanan and Faarooq saw their Rumble dreams ended by the brothers as a result.

As Jeff and Matt grappled in the corner, the buzzer counted down to herald the arrival of the number five entrant. It was none other than comedian Drew Carey, and as Carey entered the ring The Hardy Boyz managed to simultaneously eliminate each other. Carey was alone but not for long, as The Big Red Machine Kane entered the match at number six.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
