10 Times Wrestlers Were Spooked FOR REAL
8. Lex Luger Runs For His Life
A story that's both an arm-around-the-shoulder Classic Brody and simultaneously the sort of thing that would get anybody else blackballed forever, Brusier Brody's decision to stop giving a sh*t during a 1987 clash with Lex Luger is hilarious to watch for anybody other than perhaps Luger himself.
The two were exchanging punches in the corner during a steel cage match when Brody simply stopped selling. Luger threw a few more and got nothing. The future 'Narcissist' recalled it with terror, noting that;
"I didn't know what was going through his head. He had razor blades on his fingers and I was like, 'What's this guy gonna do next?'
With those (and likely other) thoughts racing through his mind, Luger did the only logical thing and got the f*ck out of there. The grainy quality of the footage adds to the contrasting mystique - it's charming, and thus funny. Unless, obviously, you're Lex Luger.
