10 Times Wrestling And Animals Didn't Mix

5. Scott Steiner's Tiger Vs. The WCW Locker Room

Twenty years before Joe Exotic became world famous as "The Tiger King", another unstable blonde with a goatee beard was staking his claim to that title.

On an episode on Nitro in 2000 (because of course this happened in 2000), the WCW commentary team was giving a moving eulogy to the recently-departed Yokozuna.

Midway through Mark Madden's heart-warming story about the big man, the mood took a complete 180 degree turn when Scott Steiner made his way down to ringside with an actual factual tiger.

Steiner leads the startled animal down to ringside, hands the leash back to its trainer, and makes zero reference to the tiger ever again. He wasn't even facing anyone with an animal theme - he was facing Mike Awesome.

The whole thing got even more bizarre when the tiger was brought backstage. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, "backstage, when he was trying to get a photo with the tiger, the tiger nearly took a chunk out of Rey Mysterio's eye."

At least we know what Seth Rollins was watching in 2000.

The tiger incident is one in a long line of mad moments in the life and times of the Big Bad Booty Daddy, but Steiner maths never nearly cost someone their eye.
