3. Rampage Will Be AEW Dynamite’s Twin

AEW pushed the boat out for Rampage's first few episodes in August 2021. CM Punk was on the second-ever edition, and the debut featured a cracking bout between Kenny Omega and Christian Cage. Things looked good, and Tony Khan seemed to be coming through with notions that Rampage would be a 'third hour of Dynamite'.

Things changed fast.

All Elite clearly stopped caring so much about Rampage long before the end of 2021, and it's been a spotty show ever since. You do still get some great wrestling on the card, but Rampage is more like WWE's old Sunday Night Heat or Velocity shows than a neat complement to the AEW flagship.

Kudos to those who still take time out of their week to watch Rampage. Those folks are rarely rewarded with anything substantial that rocks AEW's product; anything monumental is reserved for Dynamite. Current World Champ MJF has rarely (if ever) been on the show since winning the belt, for example.
