10 Times Wrestling Crowds Actually RUINED The Moment

1. BeachBall Mania

People can choose not to care about a specific match. That's fine. Going to the bathroom or checking your phone is okay. However, the most disrespectful thing someone can do if the match hasn't grabbed them, is make a spectacle of their own disinterest by blowing up a beach ball and bouncing it around the stands. Not only is this a jerk-move for one fan to do, but the other fans, who may want to watch the match, now have to deal with the ball coming their way.

WWE had to deal with BeachBall Mania for quite some time. Fans would bring them and begin bouncing them, especially during cruiserweight and women's' matches, not even pretending to care about wrestling that they've paid to see.

This would ruin countless matches until at one point, Cesaro provided vindication for the true fans by hopping the barricade and ripping one before throwing it on the ground. WWE would later go on to ban beach balls as a whole in 2017 in a rare decision that ended up pleasing, well, everyone who actually enjoys watching wrestling.

At the end of the day, while many people buy the ticket with their hard earned cash and can cheer and boo to their heart's content, one thing they can always do is find a way to make the product better. Good fans are essential.
