10 Times Wrestling Fans Demanded Refunds

6. WCW Goes To Hell - Bash At The Beach 2000

The WCW was at this point in its dying days, and considering that so much of their audience were being given free tickets, refunds may not have even been an option for some! Regardless, Jeff Jarrett taking on Hulk Hogan for the WCW Heavyweight Championship was still a match which got some excited, but what happened next sealed WCW's fate. The bizarre set up here saw Jarrett lay down in the middle of the ring for a bemused Hogan - who made his distaste for the angle clear just seconds after the match - to pin him. There are a lot of conflicting stories about how this all went down, but what is clear is that it was one of the worst and most inconsequential title victories of Hogan's storied career. The real controversy came when Vince Russo came out to the ring and slandered Hogan, something which led to him leaving the WCW and suing them. The whole thing was a mess behind the scenes, but for fans in attendance and at home, they were just left baffled and confused as to what they had just seen when they were expecting an actual match!
