10 Times Wrestling Fans Jumped The Barricade Into The Ring

1. Eddie Guerrero Greets A Fan That Interrupts A Ladder Match

http://youtu.be/NOhKVCDqrME It's one of the best matches in Raw history. Eddie Guerrero defended the IC Title against Rob Van Dam on the May 27, 2002 edition of Raw in Edmonton, Alberta. Since they were the two masters of the Frog Splash it was fitting that they would meet in such a big match with that stipulation. A lot of the fan incidents you've already read about really didn't impact a match too much. This one did. With RVD laying on the mat, Guerrero was set to climb up a ladder that was set up. As he neared the top of it, some fan in an Edmonton Oilers jersey got into the ring under the bottom rope and he shoved the ladder while Guerrero was on it. Since Guerrero was the heel, he probably assumed the guy was going after him. Eddie ended up jumping off the ladder and landing on his feet, so he wasn't hurt by it. The fan looked like he wanted to strike Guerrero, but a referee ran in there to pull the fan down. It looks like the ref was Earl Hebner. While the ref was holding the fan, Guerrero nailed the fan with a punch to the head that probably rocked him. A security guard ran into the ring to take care of things. The fans cheered as the dumbass fan was taken away while Guerrero went on to finish the match with RVD. Hey fans, it's pretty simple. Enjoy the show in the arena, but don't try to get in the ring. As you've seen from the videos above, you're going to pay a very physical price for it.
