2. Raven Gets Dragged Out To The Floor During A Promo On WCW Thunder

Instead of standing in the ring to talk like everybody else, he usually sat in the corner to say whatever was on his mind. Raven was doing a promo ripping on Diamond Dallas Page, who he was feuding with all the time leading up to the April 1998 Spring Stampede PPV. All of a sudden, some fan grabbed him by the back of the head and yanked him to the floor below. Announcer Tony Schiavone asked: "What's this about?" We had no idea. It was just some fan. Security ended up showing up pretty quickly to apprehend the guy, but they really should have been there even sooner. The crowd cheered loudly as security took him away. Raven's jacket had a visible rip in it on the right side. When Raven got back into the ring to continue the promo from a seated position, his microphone stopped working. Something must have happened when he got yanked out of the ring. The crowd was doing the tomahawk chop salute to him since they couldn't hear him. After about 30 seconds, somebody handed him a microphone so he could continue the promo. At the end of the video above, the person that made it included a slow mo version of the fan attack. Raven was definitely lucky that the guy only pulled him out of the ring and didn't try to do anything worse.
