5. A Fan Tries To Join The WrestleMania 23 Main Event

It may not always be the best match of the year (it rarely has been) and there could be others in the year that are great too, but it is considered one of the most important ones. Moments before the WrestleMania 23 (2007) main event between WWE Champion John Cena and Shawn Michaels, you could see a fan jump over the security wall and head straight for the ring. You can see the guy walk right to the ringside area, then jump over it while Michaels was getting checked by the ref. If you hit pause on the video at the :10 mark you can see the guy taking off his shirt right before he got tackled by WWE security as well as referee Mike Chioda. Apparently this dude thought that if he gets into the ring he wanted to show off his body, which is pretty small and pale. The great Jim Ross on commentary transitioned into talking about the great fans coming from all over the world to the event. Now that's how a pro does it. The camera cut away from the stupid fan to show Michaels getting ready for the match to begin. It was funny to see Michaels actually wave to the fan that got taken away. It just showed how calm Michaels was even in a match that was the main event of a WrestleMania.
