10 Times Wrestling Was Electrifying

7. Women's No-Rope Electric Barbed Wire Death Match

In this infamous women's match from Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling, Combat Toyoda and Megumi Koda hurl each other into electrified barbed wire "ropes," immediately putting to shame WSX's goofy pyro.

Unlike the short-lived fed's overblown theatrics, the women in this match masterfully employ increasingly desperate counters and other maneuvers to avoid touching the ropes, and you're easily convinced that one touch of those barbed wire lines could mean serious damage for either performer.

The electric spots are used sparingly, and only the ref's excessive flopping around feels overdone.

For a death match, it's beautifully restrained, yet still feels brutal.
