He's the Mountie! He's handsome, he's brave, he's strong! He's the Mountie, and his shock stick's absurdly long! You can try to run, he'll cuff you to the ground! And when he pretends to shock you, you'll have to flop around!
Much like Rick Martel's gigantic atomizer, the Mountie's shock stick was ridiculously oversized - so the folks in the cheap seats could see it! - and yet, it perfectly fit his gimmick as the sadistic doppelgänger of Dudley Do-Right.
Whether wielded by the Canadian crimefighter or his loudmouth manager Jimmy Hart, the shock stick is one of the most iconic foreign objects in WWE history, right up there with Hart's megaphone, Cornette's tennis racket, and Regal's brass knuckles.
