10 Times WWE Actually Admitted It Sucked

2. Baron Corbin Is Scapegoated

On the December 17, 2018 RAW, WWE responded to a deluge of criticism.

2019 was somehow worse - so emphatically sh*t that Vince actually relinquished a degree of creative control - but 2018 was hardly 1998 WCW. No cliff was driven over; Vince McMahon had lost his grip on the edge for a long time, no-selling the blood on his new bone-fingers as a sign of weakness. It was the fault of the cliff. The cliff did not know what the cliff wanted.

Corbin was a witless and overexposed RAW GM, a beyond tired role; Crown Jewel was pathetically bad, and its Shane McMahon heel turn exacerbated the ceaseless heat; Dean Ambrose's heel turn, meanwhile, reduced a promising and overdue development to an over-gimmicked joke scarcely believable in how crass and unconvincing it was. They ruined Daniel Bryan's comeback.

All of this was clearly Corbin's fault!

But in a rare show of humility on the part of Stephanie McMahon, she herself said "We haven't been doing a very good job for you lately".

Lately?

The Anonymous GM outdrew Corbin by several million viewers, and they told us it sucked!
