10 Times WWE Booking Failed Braun Strowman

9. The Swamp Fight

Braun Strowman
WWE

A risible affair that did a disservice to the already-divisive "cinematic" label, this June joke came long after people had tired of the genre, the feud, and the f*cking Bray Wyatt gimmick WWE chainsawed in half one year earlier.

A pigsh*t thick spectacle began with Braun getting attacked by his old self just to make time for Wyatt to gabble on about nothing and remind everybody why this putrid persona was so loathed by the end of its run.

From there we got all the all-too-familiar no audience slapping noises in settings such as old wooden shacks, murky knolls and eventually the eponymous swamp itself.

Alexa Bliss rocked up, kicking off that stage of the poor f*cker's career, and The Fiend popped up out of the water at the end like a whack-a-mole desperate to take a hammer shot that put him down for good. It was the worst kind of wrestling farce, taking two supposed monsters and making them mugs.
