They paved the way during the early years and without them, we might have never seen female performers in the squared circle. Their careers were long and legendary and they are revered names in WWE history... ...or are they? After their storied careers came to an end, Moolah and Mae Young appeared in several storylines for the WWE which can only be described as distasteful and nothing else. This included Young being sexually involved with Mark Henry, giving birth to a rubber hand, and being powerbombed through a table. Moolah also participated in strip matches and bra & panties matches in her later years. Basically, even the pioneers of women's wrestling were not safe from this. It makes me sad that these women were not afforded the respect they deserved and were basically a comedy duo when WWE brought them back.
