5. Braun Strowman's Toy Car

2019's stupid WrestleMania Braun Strowman storyline saw him feuding with Saturday Night Live cast members Colin Jost and Michael Che over not a great deal, but one of the few highlights saw the 'Monster Among Men' do one of the things he does best and smash the sh*t out of a vehicle just because it looks funny.

The luxurious sports car Strowman destroyed had been a gift, see; an effort from the cocky pair to try and get their new rival to forgive them rather than batter the f*ck out of them at the ''Grandest Stage'.

Only it wasn't really - WWE just had a toy to sell.

Backward engineering a reason for merchandise to exist, the company donated a portion of Monday Night Raw (and the 'Show Of Shows' build) to the sight of Strowman tearing off doors etc just because they'd already made a gift set to reflect just that. A set they then emailed mailing list fans about within minutes of Raw going off the air. Or before, if you hadn't even had a chance to see it for real.

As slick as it was cynical, it was far too sharp a reminder of the core values of the organisation beyond anything that could be classified as creative. It's not the only time Strowman's been dragged through one of these, either...
