Excitement on socials was at a fever pitch when Bray Wyatt returned at Extreme Rules 2022. People were very happy to see the guy, and hopes were high that a Triple H-led WWE would give Wyatt's creative genius the proper platform to flourish. Sadly, that wasn't actually the case.

His entire run was a bit of a stinker, being brutally honest.

After that hot start in October, Wyatt began cutting effectively the same promo time and time again. Folks were lured in by thoughts of inner turmoil at first, but then WWE hit the repeat button and people got bored. Things were already sagging by the time he matched up vs. LA Knight for a dire "Pitch Black" match at Royal Rumble.

That was ruined by Mountain Dew branding (seriously, promoting soft drinks was more important to the company than Wyatt or Knight), and by the fact Bray turned into some neon-drenched version of his old 'Fiend' character. The dude hasn't worked another match since, and is currently off TV.
