Randy Ortons RKO has been one of the WWEs most popular moves for nearly a decade now, due to his ability to hit it on anyone, anywhere. Orton can catch people in the move from almost any situation, and its not uncommon to hear the cry of RKO Outta Nowhere as he plants his opponents faces into the mat. Over the course of 2014, nothing wrestling related made as big a splash in popular culture than the hashtag #RKOOuttaNowhere and the accompanying Vines that went along with it. It transcended professional wrestling to the point that everyone was sharing them and making them, even people who had no idea who Randy Orton was. The meme started when in October and spread like wildfire with Randy Orton showing up in all sorts of places to hit people with an RKO Outta Nowhere. Whether it was football, skateboarding, or just a funny clip of someone falling over, there wasnt much that couldnt be made better by adding Randy Orton into the mix. As popular as the meme got, it was only a matter of time before other wrestlers got in on the action and soon there were Vines popping up featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels delivering their signature moves. The meme became so popular, it helped turn Randy Orton from a heel to a babyface, and WWE even produced a limited RKO Outta Snowhere t-shirt for their winter tour, featuring Orton hitting the move on a snowman.
