One of the biggest fears among wrestling fans when Sting signed with WWE was whether he would compete in a t-shirt. This was an issue in the final few years of his TNA stint, as it made his matches look bush-league and hid his less-than-stellar physique at that time. Thankfully, that wasn't the case at WrestleMania 31 when he went one-on-one with Triple H and he appeared to be in the best shape of his life. Unfortunately, he resorted back to his t-shirt-wearing days when he wrestled on the Sept. 21 Raw edition of Raw. It had been reported for weeks that Sting trained hard for his rumored match at SummerSlam, so it was weird he had to hide his physique during his Raw in-ring debut. In fact, he didn't wear his signature shirt that Sunday at Night of Champions when he took on Seth Rollins, so it was a mind-boggling decision that made his first ever match on the flagship show feel less special as a result.
