10 Times WWE Made Us Ashamed To Be Wrestling Fans

1. Katie Vick

Katie Vick… a name that will make any long-term wrestling fan shudder.

During the build to a Title Unification match between World Heavyweight Champion Triple H and Intercontinental Champion Kane, HHH antagonised his opponent by claiming that he knew a dark secret from the Big Red Monster’s past, that he knew all about Katie Vick. Triple H capped this tirade off by accusing Kane of being a murderer.

If you think it’s already tasteless, you are right. If only that was the worst part.

HHH elaborated on his accusations, claiming that Kane had caused a car crash that had killed the lovely Katie, whom Kane had been attempting to woo. 'The Game' went further by speculating that since Kane’s DNA had been found on Katie’s body, perhaps the Big Red Machine had waited until she was dead to have his way with her.

The implication was bad enough, but HHH wasn’t finished there. He then showed footage, allegedly from a funeral home, of himself dressed as Kane, simulating sex with a mannequin lying in a coffin.

Somehow, all of this was allowed to air on Monday Night Raw, to the disgust of anybody unlucky enough to watch. Definitely one of the most tasteless angles of all time.
