10 Times WWE Missed Out On Making Sheamus A Superstar
6. Sheamus Should've Been Undefeated From SummerSlam 2012 Through WrestleMania 28
The idea of Sheamus Brogue Kicking an unaware Daniel Bryan into next year to win the World Championship in record time would've made sense if Sheamus had a 30-plus week undefeated streak on TV that included him winning the Royal Rumble. The expectation of a technical classic between Sheamus and Bryan would've been possible, but if Sheamus had been on TV tearing through people with Brogue Kicks like how Goldberg tore through people with spears and Jackhammers in WCW, WWE could've had something great. Cocky, "YES!" chanting Daniel Bryan getting his comeuppance via the undefeated Sheamus' boot? A lot better than expecting a technical masterpiece and getting an 18-second farce instead.
