10 Times WWE Posters Totally Lied To You

10. Badd Blood 1997 (The Undertaker)

The main event of 'Badd Blood: In Your House' was the first ever Hell In A Cell match. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker were the ones set to do battle inside the now-infamous structure, but you wouldn't know that looking at the Pay-Per-View poster. Given the historic feel of the show, and the fact it featured a first for the WWF, it would have made sense to at least hint to the Cell encounter. Instead, the company confusingly displayed 'Taker holding up his own head. Perhaps the idea was to show that Undertaker was a different beast, because the head seemed to belong to an earlier incarnation of the famous character. Regardless of any excuses, it's difficult to see what was achieved here. This poster would have been much more at home advertising the SummerSlam 1994 PPV. On that show, The Undertaker faced a doppelganger, and his own execution is hinted at on the Badd Blood promotional image. This was an incredibly poor choice of picture to adorn such a memorable event, and indicates that The Undertaker will face himself on the show.
