6. Lacey Evans' Pregnancy Gets In The Way Of Her Affair With Ric Flair
The year 2021 has certainly been a memorable one for The Nature Boy, but largely for the wrong reasons.
Months before his unsettling actions on the "Plane Ride From Hell" were once again brought into the spotlight on an episode of The Dark Side of the Ring, Ric Flair found himself slap-bang in the middle of one of the most cringe-inducing storylines in recent memory. Romantically linked with Lacey Evans on-screen, all signs seemed to point towards the former Marine and Charlotte Flair coming to blows at WrestleMania 37.
Thankfully, nature opted to get in the way of a programme just about nobody actually wanted to see progress further than it already had. Saying that, it's still hard to wash away the uncomfortable sight of Flair implying that he was the father of Evans' incoming child via giddy Nature Boy strut.
Flair has since revealed that neither he or his daughter were fans of the creative direction the company went down with the feud as a whole.
To make matters worse, The Queen wound up missing 'Mania altogether in the wake of this sudden change of circumstances, once again proving that the company really had too many eggs in this peculiar basket.
