8. Rikishi Attempted Murder

Rikishi's heel turn in 2000 was a disaster.

The thong-wearing Too Cool member said that he'd attempted to murder Steve Austin "for The Rock", and then proceeded to play second fiddle to the real culprit: Triple H. From there, WWE lost interest in 'Bad Man' Rikishi and had him return to his dancing roots by late-2001.

The Samoan's part in that Austin car "accident" at Survivor Series 1999 was never spoken of again, at least not seriously. It has probably been brought up once or twice in light-hearted fashion during his subsequent cameos, but only for cheap giggles. Rikishi is a good guy, damn it!

Wrestling is so strange with stuff like this. A beloved character admitted that he tried to kill the biggest star of all time, but he's forgiven because the storyline tanked; that sums it up. Rikishi went into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2015 and has barely brought up his vehicular homicide past.

It isn't part of the character WWE wants you to remember.
