10 Times WWE Ruined Bray Wyatt
8. The Cena Feud
Bray was unfortunately fed to John Cena at WrestleMania XXX. Had WWE held off on the confrontation between The Shield and the Wyatt Family and saved it for the big show instead of the Elimination Chamber, a match that we have been talking about for years may very well reach iconic, "greatest match ever" status. Instead, Wyatt lost to Cena. Rumor has it that Wyatt was originally slated to go over Cena, but with the last-minute decision to have Undertaker end the streak by losing to Brock Lesnar, WWE creative wanted to counter-act by having a major babyface win, and so the finish to the Wyatt/Cena match was changed.
As for the feud, Cena got the two big wins (at WrestleMania, and the blowoff at Payback where Wyatt was literally buried in a Last Man Standing match), and Wyatt’s only win (at Extreme Rules) was because of interference from the kid from the NFL Play 60 commercial. Needless to say, it wasn’t the most decisive of victories. Bray came out of the Cena feud worse than he started it.
