3. Missing Out On The Brock Lesnar Feud And WrestleMania 32
Based on his interference in the 2016 Royal Rumble match, it looked like Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar was a lock for WrestleMania 32. Bray was a decent enough opponent for Brock, big enough and a good bumper to make Lesnar’s suplexes look very impressive. But a combination of an injury to Bray and Dean Ambrose’s big performance in the Fastlane main event inspired WWE creative to change plans and book Ambrose vs. Lesnar for WrestleMania. Bray hinted at his disappointment at the decision the night it was booked with a tweet that read, “Dark nights. Bright days?”
As for 'Mania itself, the Lesnar vs. Ambrose match was one of the more disappointing on the card, and Bray and his Wyatt Family were fed to The Rock and John Cena in a segment. The only time Bray sniffed Brock Lesnar was at the Roadblock Network special when he and Luke Harper took on Lesnar in a handicap match, where Harper did nearly all of the bumping. It’s possible Bray may win the five-way at Extreme Rules and face Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire, but incredibly doubtful.
