10 Times WWE Stars Went Viral For Totally STUPID Reasons

6. Nia Jax's Hole

This moment went viral because of how bizarre it was.

Back in the ThunderDome era there wasn't any real crowd noise to cover wrestlers talking in the ring. WWE peppered in what they thought the fans would sound like, but if a wrestler got to close to a microphone, what they said would be broadcast live around the world.

Poor Nia Jax found this out the hard way.

According to Jax, a very specific joke between her and Triple H during rehearsal had become so funny that she decided to try and repeat it for The Game's benefit on Raw. That's when we all heard Jax, outside the ring after missing an apron Leg Drop on Lana, screaming "Ouch! My hole!" to millions of people around the world. Wrestling is the gift that keeps on giving... sometimes.

Within seconds of her uttering those words, clips of the incident began circulating on social media and the phrase quickly became a trending topic. Memes, jokes, and parodies flooded the internet, although not ones WWE would want to share on their own platforms.

How Nia didn't realise that she'd be picked up saying it is anybody's guess. The arena would've been silent, there was a camera in her face, and she shouted it as loud as she could.

Apparently, Triple H and Vince McMahon popped, so that's something. WWE even tried to cash-in on the moment with a line of t-shirts, but a higher up wisely nixed the idea before it became a reality.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
