10 Times WWE Stars Were Struck By The Intercontinental Title Curse

1. Daniel Bryan (2015)

Daniel Bryan is the most recent victim of the Intercontinental Title curse. Winning the title at WrestleMania 31 earlier this year, Bryan promised to have a meaningful and lengthy reign with the belt, taking it back to the glory days of before. Fans were licking their chops over what Bryan's great wrestling skill could do for the once-proud championship, but it was not to be. Less than 2 months after winning the Intercontinental Title, Bryan regretfully relinquished it live on Monday Night Raw. The May 11th, 2015 edition of the show will not be forgotten by the grappler's biggest fans, because it was a sad moment for all involved. Instead of getting to show what he could do for the Intercontinental gold, Daniel Bryan had a dejected look as he announced he may never wrestle again. A serious neck and shoulder injury was the cause of the problem, and it has since been revealed that the man has suffered from concussion problems too. There are still worries that Bryan will never work inside a WWE ring again, meaning the Intercontinental Title could be the last belt he holds in the promotion. That's not something the guy's supporters want to think about, but it's a real possibility. What other wrestlers were cursed by the Intercontinental Title association?
