10 Times WWE Successfully Recycled Its Own Storylines

1. The Toughest S.O.B & The Man

Becky Lynch Arrested

A comparison at one point so commonplace you could write a list on it, links between the meteoric rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin and resilient rebirth of Becky Lynch were manifold before 'The Man' was carted off Raw in handcuffs for an offense too many at Ronda Rousey's expense.

Violating a suspension to deck Natalya and anybody else she could get near, only by restraining Lynch could WWE bosses get control - asserting the same authority over her as they did 'The Rattlesnake' on more than one occasion.

Austin was so often in trouble with the law on Raw that he no longer feared the fight. Iconic images of him still shine decades on - his playful grin in the face of the force, his middle fingers emerging from cuffed hands, Austin was the visual embodiment of the "doesn't give a damn!" call Jim Ross was so fond of.

Becky too now commands similar respect and praise. Like the 'Toughest S.O.B' she backs up her succinct words, fears no ramifications and battled her way all the way to the WrestleMania main event. No larger opponent, law enforcement or last name McMahon will stop her charge.
