10 Times WWE Totally BOTCHED WrestleMania
1. All. Of. It. (WrestleMania XXVII)
Oh, boy.
It may have come equipped with a returning People's Champion and a rather epic war between The Undertaker and Triple H, but outside of those few occasional highlights, WrestleMania XXVII as an event sits as quite possibly the biggest Show of Shows misstep... ever?
Stuffing the biggest event on the calendar with a frustrating amount of nothing contests, ranging from Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler's disaster to whatever that Snooki-infused six-person nonsense was, the stage was well and truly set for a finale that was also destined to be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
Despite somehow walking out of the event still reigning as WWE Champion, a disturbing concussion and Rocky's eventual intervention well and truly overshadowed Miz's shock victory, with the attention swiftly turning to The People's Champion inevitable showdown with John Cena down the road.
The most important main event of the year used as little more than an angle to set up the following year's Once-in-a-Lifetime lie.
A waste of talent, time, and energy from pretty much start to finish, to class this event as The Grandest Botch of Them All would be an understatement.
