10 Times WWE Tried (And Failed) To Swerve The Fans
1. Seth Cashes In
There's no denying that Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase slap bang in the middle of WrestleMania 31's main event was an awesome moment, and one that will live long in the memory of every WWE fan.
At the same time, there's also no denying that a great many WWE viewers on the internet had predicted exactly what The Architect had up his sleeve, both in the build-up to and indeed during the show itself.
To be fair, the creative team tried their very best to keep this one a secret, even going so far as to have Seth lose his match against Randy Orton in the same night (which really ought to preclude you from thinking you have a right to the WWE Title).
But fans have been writing fan fiction about someone cashing in on the Grandest Stage of Them All for years, going right back to the inception of MITB in 2005. It was only a matter of time before it happened for real, and everything about the former Shield member just screamed that it would be him to do it.
