4. Jamie Noble & Nunzio

Chants of "ECW! ECW!" flashed around ringside as Tazz (on commentary) pretended not to know who ex-peer Little Guido was on the 12 December 2002 episode of SmackDown. That was forgivable, because Guido, renamed Nunzio, was debuting under a new role: Jamie Noble's violent cousin.

As Michael Cole and Tazz cried foul over Nunzio's attacks on Crash Holly, Noble whooped and hollered his approval and Nidia looked concerned. The story being told was clear: Nunzio was a vicious thug who Nidia wanted Noble to stay away from.

It didn't really matter. Within months, WWE had decided to move on and forget the whole thing anyway.

All references to Nunzio and Noble as blood relatives ceased and the former put together a WWE version of ECW's Full Blooded Italians stable. That was it for the cousin storyline, and it was never discussed again on commentary or by either man in promos.
